All Apothecary Practitioners must be fully qualified in their field and belong to the recognised professional body. A C.V. along with two professional references, sample practice literature and a copy of your current professional indemnity insurance will be required. All applications will be considered on an individual basis. Massage therapists may also be assessed by an independent consultant therapist.
The Treatment RoomsWe have two 1st floor treatment rooms each equipped with couch, two pillows, couchroll, hi-fi, table and chairs. Practitioners must provide their own towels and additional pillows if required. There is also a large reception/waiting room suitable for talks and workshops and a bathroom. All rooms have C/H with additional heaters available.
Apothecary Practitioner Room Hire
We aim to provide a cost effective system that encourages and supports the interests of the
individual practitioner along with the interests of the other practitioners and The Apothecary as
a whole. Room hire is therefore allocated to the following sessions:
Monday-Saturday 9:30 til 1:30pm and 1:45 til 5:45pm
Monday-Thursday evenings 6:00pm til 9:00pm
Each session costs 20.00 pounds per week Payable by standing order at the beginning of each month. Additional 'ad hoc' hours are charged at 7.50 pounds per hour.
Introductory RateThe first three months are charged at half-price via a one off payment payable in advance.
In addition to room hire, this covers the admin and general promotion of your practice within the store and on our website. It does not include the cost of any individual's promotional literature, such as business cards or leaflets, which are the practitioner's own responsibility nor does it cover any advertising other than in store. Please note: display of any leaflets and posters instore are subject to their approval by The Apothecary.
'Ad-hoc' Practitioners/WorkshopsPractitioners only interested in 'ad-hoc' hours can also be considered for either occasional treatment/room hire and/or promotional workshops. Please contact The Apothecary for details.
NoticeOne month's notice is required should practitioners decide to change or cancel the time or number of their sessions at The Apothecary. The Apothecary will also give practitioners one months notice should it become necessary to change or cancel any arrangements, including any increase in room rental costs.
